A 5pm cut-off, and what happens when it moves
Plenty of fulfilment companies advertise same-day dispatch and quietly miss it in November. Here is the version with the caveat left in.
Orders received, paid and free of holds before 5pm on a working day are picked, packed and handed to the carrier that day. Anything after it goes the next working day. That is not a marketing number: it is the cut-off written into clause 10.1 of our terms of service, and we report against it in a monthly scorecard sent to every client alongside our dispatch accuracy.
The caveat is in clause 10.2, and we would rather you read it here than discover it later: our published cut-off may change at peak. November and December put every 3PL in the country under the same pressure at the same time, and a provider who tells you their cut-off is immovable in December is either much bigger than us or not being straight with you. What we commit to is that any change is published in advance with notice, not applied silently on the day your order misses it.

Being local shortens your inbound leg and means a conversation about a damaged pallet happens with someone in your timezone who has your product in their hand. Your customers never see any of that: parcels dispatch nationwide and internationally on our negotiated Royal Mail, DPD and Evri rates.

What is your same-day cut-off?

Where exactly are you based?
Unit 32, Crown Business Park, Crown Top Lane, Rochdale, OL11 2PU, in Greater Manchester. It is a working warehouse rather than a trade counter, so there is nothing to walk into, but you can arrange a visit before committing any stock to us.
Do I have to be in Manchester to use you?
No. We are local to Greater Manchester but ship UK-wide and internationally. Stock arrives by courier and leaves by courier, so your location and ours are invisible to your customer.
Does the 5pm cut-off still apply during peak?
5pm is the cut-off all year, and it is what we work to in November and December. Clause 10.2 of our terms does allow us to move the published cut-off at peak, and we would rather tell you that upfront than let you find it in the small print. If it changes, you get notice in advance rather than a missed dispatch and an explanation afterwards.
